One of our purchases from a Surrey Sculpture Society exhibition can be seen at RHS Wisley over Christmas and the New Year in a story trail inspired by C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Scarface, an imposing lion’s head by sculptor Seamus Cuddihy, is perfectly cast in his new incarnation as Aslan, and as he started life as the stump of a cherry tree, it also seems fitting that he is spending some time in the horticultural splendour of Wisley.
